You! Take a HIKE!

Take A Dang Hike Already!

Cooped up lately? Stressed by the monotony of work life?  Go take a hike!!!!  No, we’re not being rude. It’s a well-known fact that getting plenty of exercise and sunlight is a key component to maintaining a healthy mindset. So what better way to relieve some stress and get those creative juices flowing than by taking a hike?

With neither the sweltering heat of summer nor the frigid cold of winter stormng us right now, there’s never been a better time! Hikes can be a great experience. And our whole THING is creating great experiences. So, of course we love hiking at Hitch! AND not only is it good for your mental health, but it may also increase your productivity and boost your creative problem-solving abilities.

It is Weird Science!

Don’t take our word for it. There is some weird science behind it all.  Trees and plants emit a substance known as phytoncides. These chemicals can help boost your immune function. Phytoncides aren’t just good for your physical health – they also benefit you mentally. Inhaling it relaxes the mind, soothes nervous system activity and indirectly reduces anxiety and stress levels. Which then can get your writers block unstuck, your ideas churning and the mind a flowin’!

Follow Me… Into the Woods

With all these benefits, shouldn’t we all be thinking about getting out there and taking a hike?  You know – hitting the trails, working up a lather, and getting back to nature? Think of it as your own mini-experiential marketing event. Leave your worries behind at the office – go hug a tree, chase a squirrel or whatever it is that makes you happy – we promise not to judge.

Don’t know where to start?  We’ve got you covered – here’s a list of the best hikes in your state https://www.travelawaits.com/2549688/best-hikes-in-all-50-states/

Oh, and one last thing - don’t wait too long, because fall is fading fast.
