Halloween is our holiday

Autumn evokes images of falling leaves, peaceful harvests, and time spent with loved ones reflecting on the year… which is great. But it’s certainly not the best part.

Halloween is where it’s at! The hearts that pound at a haunted house, the sugar rush from the candy corn, and the flow of creativity that pour out when crafting the perfect costumes make up the BEST holiday of the year.

Halloween is the perfect opportunity to push boundaries and explore new ideas. We’re free to experiment with intense makeup looks, clever outfit ideas, elaborate house decorations, and more. We’re invited to experience more heightened emotions at scary movies and other frightful events. And, on top of everything else, you’re not obligated to hang out with anyone in particular. Because, let’s face it, no one compares to the tribe of misfit loved ones you choose for yourself.

Part of why WE love our jobs so much is that experiential marketing is basically Halloween embodied year-round! All the factors that make Halloween so unique and beautifully bonkers play into our adoration of experiential marketing.

Spooky and Spectacular

At Hitch, our goal is to create raw emotion that turns your brand into the event, not just a name slapped on a sign above the main attraction. To do so, we take all of the lessons we learn from Halloween and apply them to our events and promotions.

We push the envelope with our PR ideas and dare to ask, “what would happen if…?” Haunted houses, giant interactive toys, inflatables the size of small houses: you name it, we’ve probably done it (or, at least, really wanted to). We play around with fresh concepts and on-the-nose ideas that keep participants and spectators hooked from the beginning of the day to the very end.

Free Your Imagination

Another thing we love about Halloween is the permission – nay, encouragement – that it gives grown adults to play dress-up and pretend. On no other day but October 31 can you roll up to work in fairy wings and a tutu without your boss kicking you out or asking you how things are at home.

In event marketing, too, creativity is the true name of the game. Our whole purpose is to think outside the box, so your event marketing stands out among the boring pamphlets, cheezy websites, and annoying emails that already populate your industry. And, hey, if we can do it in a light up ballgown or pirate costume, all the better.

Halloween is all about stepping out of your comfort zone, often physically as well as mentally. Haunted houses, corn mazes, and even your own tricked-out backyard all make for some awesome experiences. We also love to bring our events to the zany environments that make your branded experience unique. We like big scales. And we mean massive. Got an idea for a branded experience in a plaza? A four-story building? An entire river? We are so down for whatever you’re thinking.

Have Tons of Fun

On top of everything else, we have fun. Whether that’s coordinating a buzz-worthy stunt, or bringing in props and sets that turn heads for full city blocks, we know what “next-level” looks like — and how to get there. Our style of event marketing remains committed to making your brand stand out. We won’t let you be forgotten anytime soon. Everyone will remember you – the neighbors, the guests, and anyone who happened to pass by.

Sets that are buzz-worthy, stunts that push past extreme, and all of the other wacky things that take place at our events have one goal in mind: to attract the right people to the right brands. If Halloween is all about celebrating the friendships and connections you have, then our events are about finding those people and having them meet. Because, unfortunately, not everyone is into hang gliding and pyrotechnic shows.

Most importantly, we’re on your team. We want your marketing and PR to celebrate your brand and what you stand for. So, hit us with your wackiest, most out-of-the-box, “there’s no way they’ll approve this” idea. Chances are, we’re as game as you. And we can’t wait to get started.
